Smart (formerly known as Smart Cell) is the third largest mobile network service provider of Nepal.[1] The company was established on 1 July 2008. As of December 2018, it provides services to 45 districts.[2] It has been extending its network with an aim of having coverage of the entire of Nepal. On 28 October 2017 the company launched its 4G services in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Pokhara, and is planning to launch 4G in other parts of Nepal soon.[3]
