DJ TACTICS

Dmitry Vinokurov (born September 8, 1986), also known as 
DJ Tactics — DJ, sound producer, and cultural figure from Russia, Moscow, Tactics’s career started in the late 1998 as a DJ and sound producer. In 2001 he caught attention of the Vestax audio equipment brand which invited him to endorse the products as a DJ. The real turning point was the 2002 call from Vestax that invited, to that time a 15 years old Dmitry, to organise local championship to pick the winner and send him to the World Finals.
He organised the championship alone and flew to the world finals as well as representative from Russian Vestax, that was the turning point when Dmitry realised that organisation of music events will follow him through his career. On the world finals in London’s Fabric Club he met his future friends The Beat Junkies and other world stars of the DJ world and got introduced to the “kitchen” of world events organisation. 
Well established, in 2013 he co-founded Flammable Beats — the critically acclaimed DJ- and Promo-group, well known in Russia, and specialising in hip-hop, funk, soul, reggae and electronic music genres. In 2020 movie director Tatyana Chekhova released a documentary movie about the group and their impact on the Russian club scene in 2000x — Box of matches[1]. 
Group also hosts a self-named radio show on 100.1 FM radio Silver Rain in Russia.

Tactics has worked with various russian acts like; Basta, Timati, Sergei Voronov, The Cross Roadz, Guf, Ligalize, Slovetski, Slim, Krip-a-krip, Strizh, DC MC, ‘’’Dunya’,Jamal TGK. 2009 to 2012 was touring with russian hip-hop group CENTR as DJ hitting the mark of 100 different cities allover Russia. In 2013 was also invited to work with legendary Russian pop music composter and vocalist Grigory Leps but shortly after decided to concentrate on his own projects.

Tactics has opened shows for international acts like Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man, GZA, Ghostface Killah, Redman, the trio De La Soul, DJ Premier, Mix Master Mike, The Beat Junkies, Invisibl Skratch Picklz, Matisyahu, Janelle Monae, Snoop Dogg, Diplo, DJ Todd Terry, Nightmares on Wax, Mad Professor’’’.[2][3]

In 2017 he performed as soloist in a famous Concerto for turntables piece by Gabriel Prokofiev in the House of the Unions with symphonic orchestra.

In 2013 he launched his author show on YouTube — Tactics of Sound' teaching the knowledge of music production and DJing. Show featured guests like; Afrika Bambaataa, George Clinton, DJ Zinc, Kid Koala, Invisibl Skratch Piklz, DJ Nu-mark, DJ J Rocc, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Neil McLellan’.[4]

Tactics has worked and endorsed a number of iconic brands like: Vestax, Digidesign, Urei, Denon, Universal Audio, Skullcandy, Ultrasone, ADAM, Serato, Pioneer DJ, DC Shoes.

Throughout his career he organised and developed many DJ and dance related events; ITF (International Turntablist Federation (2003 - 2005)) [5] IDA (International DJ Association (2014 - 2017)), IDA (International DJ Association (2014 - 2017)) DMC DJ World (2008 - to the present) Creative Director at Rolling Stones Bar 2012 - 2015 Boiler Room (2019 at New Star Camp event in Krasnaya Polyana, Russia) Launched an educational program for kids with the 'Department of Culture of Moscow’.[6] Rewind series G-Shock Skratch TBA+
