Welcome to WikiProject United States Territories. The aim of this project is to bring together editors working on articles related to the current sixteen Territories of the United States with an aim of of improving and expanding all aspects of the territories. Please bear in mind that this project never got the love it deserved, was inactive for a while and is now being revived; so a lot is still being set up here. We will eventually have all the things any other WikiProject has including a full 'to-do list', a rating system and guidelines. This project was founded on 13 November 2015, and revived on 2 January 2021.

This project encompasses the five major territories, Puerto Rico, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the smaller claimed territories, which are all listed in this project's scope. This project does not, however, include the three associated states (Marshall Islands, Micronesia, and Palau). It has two sister projects: WikiProject British Overseas Territories and WikiProject French Overseas Departments.
