RE: Singh Tyagi surname

Hello

1. My ancestor from 9 generations earlier from Mughal times was Chaudhary Maha Singh. The whole village is predominantly his decendents. 2. My Grandfather from Sambhal District UP did not write Tyagi as his last name, he wrote Singh. 3. My other Grandfather from Karnal Haryana did not write Tyagi either. Some of his brother's used Sharma, served in WWII. 4. My Father, an Officer in the Indian Army started writing last name Tyagi. His cousins had names like Ram Singh, Phool Singh.

Do you mean to say that all these people are not Tyagis? How, please explain? Regards.

The article is not currently about a clan, but about a particular surname. (See also WP:OR) – Thjarkur (talk) 21:26, 18 December 2020 (UTC)

I'm honestly almost impressed that user keeps getting away with this trick – Thjarkur (talk) 22:01, 20 December 2020 (UTC)

Thank you very much!

Thank you for this request! This persecution has drained me terribly, and I'm glad someone took notice of this obvious sockpuppetry.--Nicoljaus (talk) 00:01, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

Yes I can imagine. I'm not even quite sure how your previous protests about this user being a sock went unheeded – Thjarkur (talk) 00:30, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
  • Well, I can't say that my protests went completely unheeded )) I got a couple of wonderful blocks and they opened my IPs to all who want to know them. Okay, thanks again.--Nicoljaus (talk) 07:21, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

The source did not verify that claim, but secondly it is not relevant enough to mention on a list of individuals. – Thjarkur (talk) 23:50, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

Why you have added mali word in saini article?mali is different caste in punjab according to Punjab land Alliation Act — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.225.46.101 (talk) 06:21, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

Saini is different caste in punjab

The census of 1881 as shown on page 292 and 232 of the book linked below 'The Cyclopaedia of India and of Eastern and Southern Asia, Commercial, Industrial and Scientific by Edward Balfour, Jan 1885' ascertains that Sainis and Malis have always been documented as entirely separate tribes in census. Same with page 232.

Why is it being ignored, please understand this is a sensitive topic for Saini community and we are being mistaken for other group which lives in different part of India Remove mali word with saini articles you can say that rajput mali started only in 1937 using saini surname how you can say all saini are malies only rajput mali using saini surname not all mali in other different states . — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.234.186.169 (talk) 13:23, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
