Internet Archive Wayback Machine

[edit]

Dear TheFlyAwayHair, I noticed that you are removing "links that don't work" as you did on the article Excuse 17. Please check the Internet Archive Wayback Machine for an archived version of the older page. I've updated the link you removed on Excuse 17, and see from your history that you have been removing numerous links on other pages. Please update an expired link rather than remove it. I don't have the time to undo all the changes that you have made. It would be great if you could go back and restore the links you removed with updated archived URLs or simply mark an expired link with the template "dead link" - to do this put the words dead link inside a set of curly double brackets --> that look like this {{ and the same (inverted) symbol for the close brackets. Or see this: [1] Thank you. If you mark a dead link this way, a BOT will eventually come to fix it if there is an old archived version. Netherzone (talk) 19:50, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
