Fabian Wrede (Peippola, Finland, 20 March 1641[1] – 6 December 1712[2]) was a Swedish politician.

Biography

An advisor to Charles XI,[3] King of Sweden, he was also a Swedish senator ("riksråd")[4] and Lord Marshal of the Riksdag of the Estates in 1682.[5]

By his birthright he was Baron of Elimäki in Finland, and he was created Count of Östanå as a reward for his service in the financial administration of the king. He married Brita Cruus in 1672.[6]
