Etymology section

"The etymological approach is criticised by some historians. John Dickie argues that "the flattering connotations of the word 'Ndrangheta (courage, martial prowess, manliness) indicate that the 'Ndrangheta as a social phenomenon was rooted in the same positive values, and that it only later degenerated into criminality." "

This bit does not seem to make much sense. The second sense seems to confirm the etymological approach, not criticize it. Rodrigo de Salvo Braz (talk) 03:20, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
