It is misleading to state that there were 9 independent TDs. Officially there were of course, but four of these were members of Sinn Féin. As SF refused to register as a party at Leinster House, the party name was not included on the ballot paper. The Election Ireland website designates these TDs as Sinn Fein TDs and the same should be done here. --Damac20:55, 24 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
