Expansion request
This article could do with additional inofrmation about Karpinsky politics and political connections during the revolution. Also his organization of Russian geology after the revolution should be a fertile ground for expansion. I understand that he sighnificantly helped in bringing the 1937 International Geological Congress to Moscow which was held after Karpinsky's death under the leadership of Ivan Gubkin, who deserves expansion of his article as well. --Bejnar (talk) 18:45, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
