Leslie's loyalty
Was Leslie not a Covenanter and not a Parliamentarian? I haven't changed it because I' not totally sure, but didn't he actually command the Scottish armies against the Parliament of England in 1648-51? Jdorney
- David Leslie took part in the campaigns of 1650 and 1651. He took no part in that of 1648 because, as a supporter of Argyll, he disapproved of Hamilton and the Engagement.
