I was thinking this sounded more like a brochure than a Wikipedia article, so I Googled the exact text. It appears to be taken verbatim from http://www.gujaratplus.com/web/gujarat/cities/bhuj.html (!!) Too new to Wikipedia to be confident in how to procede. Fogster 22:07, 18 October 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks Fogster for the tip-off. I've reverted the article back to its pre-copyvio status. For copyright-related problems, you may refer to this page: Wikipedia:Copyright problems. Regards. --*drew 10:28, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
- I reverted the article again, after Somilkumar had put the copyvio stuff back. I don't know much about Bhuj, so I'll leave further updates to someone more knowledgeable. -- Frekja 15:13, 11 November 2005 (UTC)
As far as spelling of Kachchh is concerned two spellings are widely used one is already mentioned another is Kutch. The later spelling was used by britishers and thus came in to existant. The first spelling is true to its phonetics and also all the government institutes (e.g. Post Office, Telegram office) uses Kachchh'. I believe we should stick to first spelling i.e. Kachchh'

Cleanup 08/2007
I completely revised this article. It had become a mass of empty subheadings and repetative text. In addition, someone had copypasted a long religious proclamation about building some religious temple. I've cleaned all that out, trimmed it down and added tags. Hopefully this will help, though given the mass of messy edits lately, I don't have much hope it'll stay this way. --Lendorien 17:04, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
- A fine job you've done. I'm not sure the process for removing Cleanup tags, but it's got my vote. Fogster 03:34, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Bhuj
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Bhuj's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "Religion":
- From Ujjain: "Table C-1 Population By Religious Community: Madhya Pradesh". censusindia.gov.in. Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India.
- From Valsad district: "C-16 Population By Religion - Gujarat". census.gov.in. Office of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 15:28, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
