Telescope?

This article says that "The butterfly tail is a variant form of the telescope goldfish". I can find very little information about "Butterfly tail" as a variety, but Jikin redirects here, and it has a BAS page describing standards for the breed here http://www.bristol-aquarists.org.uk/goldfish/jikin/jikin.htm. Those standards do not mention protruding eyes. Something isn't right here. Either Jikin should point elsewhere, or this is not a varient of the telescope goldfish.
