I would like to expand on this stub in the sense of adding background information and the way the theory/hypothesis of competition-colonization trade-off has evolved since it was first proposed. I would also like to describe the mathematical model used to portray the topic and how it influences a population. There are also multiple examples I will be adding based off of some of the following references: [1] [2][3][4]
