Deloitte listed as a "British" company
the past consensus was that Deloitte and the other big four are international, so why was this changed? Matteow101 (talk) 04:26, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
- The Big four are international in so far as having a global presence, but like all organizations they have an ultimate parent that is headquartered in a city. In the same way McDonald's, Shell, Toyota etc all have operations in many other countries, but they have a city where their headquarters are. The parent company of Deloitte that all local member firms report into is Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, a company registered in London per the fine print on Deloitte's website Thus it is correct to list London as the headquarters. Hoeilathe (talk) 04:03, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Hoeilathe true, but this does not make it "British", just because it's incorporated there Matteow101 (talk) 14:54, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
