Mess

This page is a mess. It has some possible good potential in grouping together lists of general standards relating to electrical safety, while the Electrical code page only lists those relating to building wiring. However, there's a risk of duplicating info, plus:

  • The history section is US specific, so that needs changing somehow.
  • The earthing system section is useless, and we don't want to duplicate the content of the Earthing systems page.
  • What on earth is the 'electrical safety conductors' section for, with an obscure reference to a section of US specific regulations?
  • The UK entry under 'electrical safety standards' just contained a set of rather obscure standards, missing the big one BS 7671, the industry standard for electrical installations in buildings, until I added it. The US entry I also notice doesn't include a mention (or link) to NEC, which makes me question what's going on here, is this all just somewhat obscure stuff??
