Aconite

Proliferation

Eranthis Hyemalis is well spread locally in Southern Scandinavia, notice especially Lund University where it was planted historically as a medical plant and depending on weather can turn gardens and parks in the city yellow in winter. This year 2020 it blooming have begun already in early January.

Gardeners World reports that it is non-toxic with no reports of actual poisoning. Has the reports of toxicity been influenced by the word 'Aconite". It could be like the great Laburnum scare of the 1980s.
