It's possible that Muir was referred to in the novel Who Walk Alone by Perry Burgess. It's a long time since I read it (1962, I think) but I seem to remember that the main character, a leprosy sufferer, is assisted by a leading doctor-researcher character who resembles Ernest Muir. The book has attracted a great deal of notice over the years, so there may be a citation for that somewhere, if anyone is interested. Storye book (talk) 10:06, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
