Full independence

Is there a reason why every instance of "independence" was changed to "full independence"?[1] I keep seeing this being changed in other articles, including referring to the Grand Duchy of Finland as "an autonomous state ruled by the Russian Empire". Personally I do not see the point of changing this to "full independence". Mellk (talk) 12:08, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
