Evolutionary Algorithms Scope / citations missing
Hello everyone, I am new to Wikipedia discussion, anyways I'd like to contribute to subjects in the scope of Evolutionary Algorithms since I write my diploma on that very subject. I wonder why this page is not related to the appropriate algorithms portal, because the fitness function is certainly essential to genetic algorithms and at a higher level as objective function to other algorithms as well.
In some of the related articles are citations missing or IMO wrongly presented like [Back 1996] which seems to be a copy-paste from someones LaTeX bibliography. I am happy to supply some citations or correct the wrong ones. I'd just wanted to let you know :)

- A ha, great! An expert! Thanks for sharing knowledge! Is there a fundamental difference with the fitness landscape, which also has a more expanded Wikipedia article? Should both be merged? I'll rather ask this here than add a Merge proposal on top of the fitness function-page. BertSeghers (talk) 12:30, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
Basic article revision
The old article, which was limited to some general statements about the nature and importance of evaluation in EAs, has been substantially revised and fleshed out, and several source citations have been added. Thus, the maintenance tag on missing citations was removed. Studi90 (talk) 17:11, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
