Allegation that Frederick Trump owned and ran a brothel
The allegation that Frederick Trump owned and ran a brothel comes from an error made by Gwenda Blair in her book "The Trumps". I think she may have published a retraction since then. The more authoritative sources indicate that Trump did not procure and offer the services of prostitutes. Rather he rented hotel rooms to customers which may have included women working as prostitutes. As a result of the animosity some people hold against Donald Trump they have been repeating the error.
