Problem
Just about everything in the section about the British shooting down sea rescue planes is repeated exactly on the page about the Dornier Do 24, right down to the the supposed incident where the British shot down the first plane claiming it was spying on a convoy. On that page they claim this happened to a Do 24. Both pages appear to make their respective aircraft the sole or primary operator in sea-air rescue in 1940, and both appear to describe the same series of events, or one very similar. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.223.160.96 (talk) 22:10, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
- The Dornier Do 24 page doesn't mention this incident at all - so I'm not sure the point you are trying to make.Nigel Ish (talk) 22:37, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
- My mistake. I was using a mobile and I must have mistakenly thought I read that on the Do 24 page. Not sure how I did that. I must have gotten onto the Sienotdiesnt page without noticing and thought I was still reading the Do 24 page. Sorry.

- However, that does point to a legitimate problem. The material on Seenotdienst is properly sourced, but this page cites the "Brandenburg Historica" blog, which appears to be largely lifted (without citation) from Seenotdienst. Either this material should be deduplicated, or this page should copy the proper citations from the other one. PT 17:28, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
