A definition of Ichneumon

 – Section heading added by Undead Shambles (talk) 06:34, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

When I was but a callow youth I read a definition for ichneumon which has stuck in my mind:

'Ichneumon:- a weasel-like quadraped (4 legs?) which destroys crocodiles'eggs" Could this be the same creature? If you have further information please confirm my memory (or not!). 82.21.23.8 (talk) 22:47, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't this page be moved to Ichneumon (medieval zoology)? 151.203.246.40 (talk) 20:54, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
