BBC Urdu has a report available dated back to 2006 where Qadri had been accused of running a private jail. The report states that 7 British and 112 other prisoners were rescued from there. It is a long report, I propose it to be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AaqibAnjum (talk • contribs) [1][2]

As far as I can understand Muhammad Ilyas Qadri is his original and common name. See, Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi; and thus I suggest page move towards Muhammad Ilyas Qadri. - Aaqib Anjum Aafī (talk) 07:14, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
- Where does the Attar come from? And why does it sometimes swap places with Qadiri/Qadri?-- Toddy1 (talk) 12:52, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

- I grew up believing we add it (meaning “the fragrant”) as an honorific or epithet to the name of a respected person. Originally from العطر. I’ll try to double-check. George Custer's Sabre (talk) 13:20, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

Neutral point of view
Parts of this article do not have the neutral point of view required by Wikipedia rules, e. g. sentences like : "Thousand of Muslims have come to the right path, repenting from their sinful lives. Many Non-Muslims have reverted to Islam by the efforts of Dawat-e-Islami." adopt a non-neutral point of view. Baronnet (talk) 07:49, 29 September 2020 (UTC)
- Baronnet, I've copyedited the article as much as I could and removed the POV tag. If there is anything else, please let me know. Thank you! ─ The Aafī (talk) 13:28, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
