Siddhagiri Math (Kaneri Math) & Shri Muppin Kaadsiddheshwar Maharaj

The "info" on these two topics is problematic, because it is unsourced. Yet it sggests a continuous tradition from Dnyaneshwar to Lingajangam Maharaj, which is worth to investigate further. Does anybody have information on this connection? Joshua Jonathan (talk) 12:16, 19 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Rudi"

I believe 'Rudi' should be removed from the overview of the lineage of Inchegeri Sampradaya. Or at the very least, the incorrent link to Albert Rudolph should be removed. It seems absurd to have a note explaining an incorrect link, rather than just removing the link. I would remove it myself but this template seems to be protected? If one were to read the article from which 'Rudi' is sourced: 'Remembering Nisargadatta' by David Godman, they would find that although 'Rudi' appeared to be in a heightened state, Nisargadatta, in the words of David Godman, does not completely confirm this. On the contrary, he seems undecided and suspicious. The only person in the article Nisargadatta categorically confirms as having understood his teaching is Maurice Frydman. No other. Therefore, can someone who has the access, please remove Rudi from the template. Bodhadeepika (talk) 08:10, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's at Template:Navnath Sampradaya - Inchegiri Sampradaya. I've moved it into an expanded note. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 08:41, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I couldn't find it. I thought it should be removed because I personally followed up that lead to find it was a red herring. I even got in touch with David Godman about it, to check that these definitely the same Rudi. He confirmed they weren't. This other Rudi is currently in California with his family, or at least, that's the last David has heard of him. 86.31.77.127 (talk) 08:46, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You made a great effort; good. Very interesting. I'll add it to the note. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 08:56, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
