Unverifiable information

Most of the information on this page is unverifiable and not supported by the citations given. In particular, the island's name appears as "Tres Perros" on maps as early as at least 1976, so that the story of the name referring to three fugitives from the coup attempt on Noriega in 1989 is certainly false. In addition, all available information indicates that Major Giroldi's co-conspirators were all executed the day of the coup attempt against Noriega, October 3, 1989, rather than that three escaped to be executed later. The information about Escolastico Calvo taking refuge on the island is also unverified, not being found in the citation given. Even if true, this would qualify as independent research.
