POV
The article lacks WP:NPOV big time. The problems ar the same as in the article on BUET (see Talk:Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology#POV). - Aditya Kabir 15:35, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
I have made the necessary changes for meeting the NPOV terms of conditions. Check it. -- Hermitage17 06:59, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
This article says "only international university in Bangladesh " about IUT. Is this appropriate ? Other universities in Bangladesh accommodate foreign students too. - Mahmudul Hasan 12:59, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
I am going to remove the claim in the first line "only international university in Bangladesh". - Mahmudul Hasan 05:15, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
I think this information has no base. "This is ranked as one of the top 2% technological universities of Bangladesh.". --Ridwan dhk (talk) 22:13, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
I have removed the external link http://www.iutaa.org. This site does not exist anymore. - Mahmudul Hasan 04:05, 08 July 2008 (UTC)
Is this a wiki page or an University Brochure ? I don't think "Objective" should be a part of a Wiki page of an University. In this case we are starting with the manifesto "objective". I am going to remove it very soon. (Ridwan dhk (talk) 16:12, 8 July 2008 (UTC))
The article is silent on the matter of demographics. Most similar articles on Wikipedia mention the size of the enrollment and the proportion of male and female students —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.29.43.2 (talk) 13:15, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:IUT-logo.jpg
Image:IUT-logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:05, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Think it again...
It is held as a top-ranked technological university in Bangladesh. Main objective of IUT is to contribute in developing the human resources of the member states of the OIC, particularly in different fields of Engineering, Technology and Technical Education. IUT receives direct endowment from OIC member countries and offers scholarships to its students in the form of free tuition, boarding, lodging and medicare. Graduates of this university are well-known for their technical acumen, depth of knowledge and excellent communication skills. They are upholding the ever-shining image of IUT with ultimate dedication in several sectors of different parts of the world.
About the images
The image A cake depicting the map of IUT, designed by the outgoing students for the juniors. is not an appropriate one for this page. Rag '06 is written on the cake. My proposal is to remove this image. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Asif.al.noor (talk • contribs) 09:23, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Do you think this types of language suits for an encyclopedic article.
Content should be based on infomation, not emotion. MåhmüÐ 22:19, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

A section about criticisms
IUT has got some controversies (past and present). Luke bot allowing female students up until recently, not allowing females to be outside after 6pm 103.135.254.226 (talk) 17:33, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
