JDK

Why Java 3D is not a part of JDK 6 yet? Anwar 18:19, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose that it is to maintain a reasonable JRE size as Java 3D can still be loaded as a third party tool. DzzD —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.165.7.89 (talk) 16:51, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Madlix

I Would categorize Madlix, http://www.madlix.com a 3D viewer to be added to the list of viewers. Before I do that I would like to hear some comments though? Are there other places that it should (rather) be included? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.225.143.30 (talk) 14:56, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Java3D Development on Hold?

According to an announcement on java3d.dev.java.net "plans for improvements to the Java 3D API are on hold" (https://java3d.dev.java.net/servlets/NewsItemView?newsItemID=5689) in favor of improving integration of JavaFX and Java3D. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.201.43.121 (talk) 20:27, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
