I added this page to Category:Spouses of national leaders, since Category:Wives of David is in that category as well. It was reverted on the basis that she is "mythical", but there is nothing in the article that supports this claim, and Jeroboam is not generally regarded as a mythical figure. I spent some time thinking about this and reading. How about a subcategory "Queens Consorts of Israel and Judah" There already seems to be a precedent with Category:Queens consort Lipsquid (talk) 23:03, 27 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your thoughtful solution. I am happy with that, although we could just put her in Category:Ancient queens consort, which already includes Jezebel. (She is not described as a queen in the text, that's why I didn't put her in a category like that initially.) StAnselm (talk) 04:56, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It is your call, but I think many readers would appreciate a category for Queens Consorts of Israel for biblical research, but I am fine with either. Lipsquid (talk) 16:36, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I have gone ahead with your suggestion and created the new category. Thanks for working hard to find a mutually acceptable solution. StAnselm (talk) 18:27, 29 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
