See talk page of the Standesamt Schneidemuhl article. The link here is to the Standesamt article, which in turn will link to the town article.

So the Polish version should theoretically link to Pila County or Pila commune. However, since apparently noone is planning to list all Polish communes one by one (several thousands altogether), the link to the city had some importance. Any reason to delete it? Or just bad will? "The Polish version" of what? Please be specific as there are many possible interpretations of that phrase. The link to the city still exists, but it's not in this article, it's in the Standesamt article. At least as far as this set of organized articles is concerned. By linking to the town article, you broke the link to the Standesamt article (either existing or planned). Please see the Kreis Kolmar in Posen, and Standesamt Kolmar articles to see some that are more developed in content. Pila County would be an article outside of this particular organization or articles. Bwood 02:15, 22 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
IMHO there should be some linking to both the actual town and (if there exists one) to the present-day Piła County in this very article. Just like it's strange not to add a link to Berlin in an article about Berlin in the Kreuzberg article or not including a link to London in the London borough article. This is a relevant piece of information and, unless you plan to add separate maps, entries and so on, might be really helpful for those who are trying to find the mythical Schneidemuehl on a map or anywhere else on the wiki. A link is needed. Halibutt 12:23, 22 May 2004 (UTC)[reply]
The Kreuzberg article is not part of a structured, time-specific hierarchy, while the Kreis, Standesamt, Province articles are. I repeat, if you link to the town here (in the table of Standesamter), where do we put the link for the Standesamt article? The link should go in the next table, which is only a stub in this instance. Again, refer to the Kreis Kolmar in Posen article for a more complete instance.

The article is unarguably notable for Wikipedia, but desperately lacking any geographical information. Namely where was that county on the map, which settlemants was it including etc. These are mentioned on this page, not on the main one. I hope I"m treating this article right cause I can see people already discussing it. ---Futurano 19:37, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I trust recent updates address these issues. Bwood 14:39, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
