An interesting concept, I've pondered something like this for other rivers, for instance Indus River has a bit. For that one I decided that after about three levels of tributary, I started losing geographical significance. If you wanted to go all the way, then you could put levels 4-6 info in a level 3 article, 7-9 in a level 6 article, etc. You could also skip nesting "singletons" where, say, a lake has only one named inlet and outlet, just mention it inline. I like it. (BTW, I've heard the drainage into Hudson Bay exceeds the Atlantic & Pacific combined; anybody able to confirm? And clarify if it's Canada-only Atl/Pac?) J-Y Cousteau 03:22, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tributaries

I would like to point out, after seeing P199's revert of 1 April, that several rivers are listed that do not drain directly into the bay. Nor do I think that is an appropriate threshold for listing. Perhaps a certain volume of water would be a good line to draw, sorting tributaries into indented lines beneath their respective distributaries, instead of by province. Thoughts?
