the "citation needed"
in the opening it says that teen sitcoms are comedies geared towards teenagers. and then it says "citztion needed". why on earth would you need to cite that a teen sitcom is aimed towards teenagers i mean it is called a teen sitcom, so who else would it be aimed at besides teens. --Mr. Comedian (talk) 13:37, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hi @Mr. Comedian: - you actually raise an interesting point; Is the main article about sitcoms containing teens/teen actors/teen voice actors *OR* is this a list of sitcoms *AIMED* at teens. Do "List" pages usually have a sort of About subsection, or in the first paragraph state 'what they are all about??' Excellent Talk Page contribution my Wiki-editing Friend. Sorting
I think that sorting should be not by name, but by date of first release. It makes more sense 114.75.197.238 (talk) 13:14, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
- Disagree with the above, but you raise a good point -- expanding on your idea! ..data should be turned into an InfoBox and spread across multiple columns, e.g. for channel and a column for year/years .. users could then click the column header and sort in place. Under USA I see Netflix's Big Mouth by Nick Kroll and MTV's historic Daria. These are cartoons! Not teen "situation comedies." Pretty sure that means live actors. Vid2vid (talk) 05:17, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
- Disagree with the take that sitcoms can't be animated. See animated sitcom. Nisf (talk) 19:36, 16 March 2019 (UTC)
- Hmm ok @Nisf: -- I mildly DO agree, because the voice actors are basically participating in a sitcom still. I just strongly feel that when most people at least Americans hear "sitcoms" they think, live actors. From Peter aka Vid2vid (talk) 21:13, 11 October 2019 (UTC).
