Name
Does someone know how to pronounce the name Me'shell Ndegeocello correctly?
- Dude, it's on the page (Name-Related Trivia). -- Crnk Mnky 15:57, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
This article seems to express this person's name as "Me'Shell NdegéOcello" and in other places her last name is written as "Ndegeocello" and the title of the article is different again: "Me'shell Ndegeocello". So which is correct? --211.28.49.160 12:21, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
It all depends on the time. The artist herself has spelled her name with several variations over her recording career. Early solo work included the apostophes, but recent albums do not. What a stupid choice for a name.
- As Ndegeocello no longer uses unusual punctuation or capitalizations in her name, the article should have remained Meshell Ndegeocello and should not have been moved to Me'shell Ndegéocello with no discussion. I'm requesting that it be moved back. Strobilus 16:58, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
--What's the deal with all the spelling changes and retarded phonetic pronunciation? Sounds like a self obessed twat. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.232.124.146 (talk) 00:04, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

External links?
External links are not a parking lot for possible references, questionable ones that may include performances that violate copyright, and plain old fan stuff. IF it's acceptable on the biography- for first and foremost that is what this is, then use what is needful, and reference it! If you are unsure, there's the help desks, or Admins. who might take a look. We have been threatened with lawsuits by musicians (or their labels, I dunno) for displaying blogs, etc. which have videos of performances that in essence, are their bread and butter. Consider others, take pride in creating a comprehensive informative article on the way to FA-status!! Otherwise, very soon all the links in the "External links" section will be removed. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 20:19, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
