Everything except the Calendrical System is a repeat of what's in the Republic of China article. Is a separate article necessary? Just as mentioned, "min guo" is just a term used to refer to the ROC. Different names (or in this case, abbreviations) dont require separate articles. --Jiang 02:57 4 Jul 2003 (UTC)
- Min-guo calendrical system can be mentioned in ROC as well. It, after how, means ROC. I can't even tell from Whatlinkshere why this term was mentioned+Wikified instead of the ROC.
- Although Éire has its separate article fr. Republic of Ireland. But Min Guo as is isn't about the words or their uses, but about their meaning. Do you think Min Guo is like Éire? --Menchi 03:55 4 Jul 2003 (UTC)
I'm tried to covert this article to just explain the Chinese era name of the ROC and nothing else. The second and third pargraphs need to be made relevant. --Jiang 22:46 12 Jul 2003 (UTC)
I will be merging this with Republic of China shortly and creating a section on "Year designations" in that article. --Jiang 05:39, 7 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- This is sensible. A-giau 03:04, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
