Fair use rationale for Image:Olympic club.jpg

Image:Olympic club.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Daly City or San Francisco

Here's a handy map of the Olympic Club golf courses and clubhouse overlaid with the political boundary between SF and Daly City:

[1]

Clearly shows the clubhouse is in SF, entrance on Skyline Drive is also in SF. It appears the Lake course is entirely in SF, while the Ocean Course straddles the border. CLiff course mostly in SF, with a little in Daly City.

Here's another image that confirms that the Lake Course is the one that abuts John Muir Drive and Lake Merced. Combined with the previous link, this suggests that the course actually straddles the border.

Part of the Olympic Club is located within an unincorporated portion of San Mateo County between San Francisco and Daly City. However, to my knowledge, the Olympic Club does not extend into Daly City.67.188.208.139 (talk) 05:46, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Not in Daly City

The Olympic Club does NOT extend into Daly City. Googling "map of Daly City" clearly shows that the city limits border the Olympic Club. Part of the club is in an unincorporated part of San Mateo County but NOT in Daly City.69.181.41.173 (talk) 13:55, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
