What kind of summary is this?

Huh.. what kind of summary is this and why do we need yet another one? And why does IRC stand out as if it were the first chat system in history? There have been chat systems ever since the 70s.. and the BITNET protocol had a builtin chat system by means of the MSG command. This document is a bit like re-inventing History_of_the_Internet. I'm pro for deletion or at least merge with Online discourse environment. --lynX 18:10, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect to Computer-Mediated Communication

I officially propose redirecting this stub to Computer-Mediated Communication article. If no one objects within one week of this posting, I will go ahead and make that redirect happen. --TheLeaper (talk) 21:03, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
