Whose term is this?

Is this really a widely used term, or is it the pet term of one sect? Mangoe (talk) 17:11, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As a presby, I've heard it used as a way to talk about Presbyterianism (the Bible demands a "plurality of elders"), but that's just a dictionary usage of a common term. I tracked down the first ref here, and it was used in this way. I thought if this were merged that there would be a short section on the disagreements between episcopal governance and presby/congregational plural governance in the destination article. I don't think it is a good title for an article or section, as WP is not a dictionary. --JFHutson (talk) 17:35, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
