Founded in 1860 not 1925
Pratt and Whitney was founded in 1860 not 1925 however in 1925 Pratt and Whitney produced their first engine but they made tools prior to building engines and continued to produce tools along with engines for a while after — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.222.180.90 (talk) 17:06, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- For the record, the company that became Pratt & Whitney Measurement Systems was founded in 1860. This is a different company. (Why do people post questions without bothering to read the article completely first?) BilCat (talk) 01:52, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
