The small indian civet has been introduced to madagaskar, but unfortunately I have no reference for this. I can add one in the following days.--Altaileopard (talk) 13:46, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Renamed to Vontsira

According to N. Garbutt, D. Austin: Madagascar Wildlife.A visitor's guide, 2015, p. 84ff ISBN 978-1-84162-557-7 the new name is Ring-tailed Vontsira with an eastern ss. (Ranomafana & Marojejy) and a northern ss. (Montagne d'Ambre & Ankarana.--Zieger M (talk) 15:32, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
