Definitive treaty of peace and friendship between Mexico and SpainSanta María–Calatrava Treaty – Shorter. CommonKnowledgeCreator (talk) 02:12, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. The rationale given is weak to say the least, but a Google on the proposed name gave me 1500 ghits most of them seeming independent of Wikipedia, while the current name gave me 500 and they all seemed to be Wikipedia mirrors of some sort (mostly non-complying). All the refs in the article are in Spanish which is no help. I think that English writers would more likely use the proposed name, and that English readers would more easily recognise it. It seems likely on the evidence that the current name is a Wikipedia invention based on a translation from Spanish. Andrewa (talk) 17:53, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
