Parish of Millbrook?

The marriage certificate of Harry Epworth Allen and Lucy Hooder clearly states that the marriage was solemnised at "the Parish Church" in the parish of "Millbrook". The Registration District is given as "South Stoneham". But I'm not sure if "Millbrook" was an ecclesiatical parish, or a registration parish, or both: [1] Or maybe the Registrar made a mistake? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:05, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@Martinevans123: When they married in 1925, Millbrook was already established as an ecclesiastical parish in its own right, within the registration district of South Stoneham. The "Parish Church in the parish of Millbrook" would have been Holy Trinity Church, Millbrook, not St Mary's, South Stoneham. Hope that helps, WaggersTALK 13:19, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks. I'l make the necessary corrections. I had "personal communication" that it was St Mary's - so that is obviously mistaken. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:25, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
