"it was the first fully animated series to be aired on TV." What? lol ... Is this suppose to say "it was the first fully animated series to be aired on PBS"? I can think of about a billion animated series before this one that were on TV.
- After combing through edit histories, I found that it used to say "on PBS" but got changed to "on TV" a few months ago. I'll change it back. Propaniac (talk) 17:12, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Funding Vandalism
I want to note that user 71.130.199.34 is adding false funding information saying Chuck E. Cheeses and Kelloggs Rice Krispies are sponsors. I deleted the false information, but the user added it a second time, after I deleted it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gabrielboros100 (talk • contribs) 00:01, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Whoopi Goldberg (Liz)
Yeah... I'm pretty sure that Whoopi Goldberg doesn't play the voice of the character that never speaks. I can't find any reference to it searching google, so I'm removing it until someone can prove otherwise. - Floydian τ γ 01:05, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Dwayne Johnson and live-action movie
Deleted false information about a supposed live action movie with Dwayne Johnson.
Unfortunately, another statement of something similar has been re-inserted into the intro paragraph.
"In May 2010, it was announced that DreamWorks will film a live-action/animated version similar to Fox and Bagdasarian's Alvin & the Chipmunks. The film stars Amy Adams as Ms. Frizzle and George Lopez as Principal Ruhle."
It is lacking a source and there is no proof I can find of this anywhere. Feel free to delete it. trainfan01
No sense
"The series continued on these six stations until February 4, 2006. Today, reruns of the series are shown on these stations." This doesn't make any sense as it says it aired on the stations until a certain date but then it says it is shown on reruns on the same stations. Could someone expand this part so it makes more sense because it sounds as if there were two seperate series airing on the said stations. trainfan01 —Preceding undated comment added 03:53, 3 May 2010 (UTC).
I have removed the second sentence of the above figuring that it probably is wrong consistent of the date and it probably is no longer shown on reruns. Plus I have not seen it listed in any TV guides of the Cartoon Network channel lately either. trainfan01
I have deleted the part about it planning to begin airing on Qubo in fall 2010 as it is unsourced with no citation given in about a month. Therefore that probably means this is false. Feel free to re-add it, but as long as you can provide a source of it. trainfan01 9:57, August 9, 2010 (UTC)
List of episodes
This article has tables on the list of all the episodes of this series, but the article List of The Magic School Bus episodes has this same list with more info (Plot summaries, DVD releases etc.). I think we should remove all the tables on this page and re-direct it to the above list. trainfan01
I have now removed all the tables in this section and have redirected it to that article. It is more relevant to be on that article than here. trainfan01 18:29, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
Theme Song
The credits of the show list "Little Richard" as the performer of the theme song. IMDB also lists it as him. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005153/ 142.151.138.146 (talk) 23:39, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
On the subject of the theme song, I have a question. I should say I'm an interested party - I wrote the Magic School Bus theme song (music and lyrics), as well as several other TV series themes. In the "summary box" (not sure what it's called in Wikipedia jargon) on the side of the article, my credit reads "theme music composer." That's incomplete - I wrote the lyrics as well as the music. A more accurate credit would be "theme song by." Yet, when I tried to change this on another of my theme songs ("Stanley" TV series), and previewed the change, it simply eliminated the category, so I gave up for the time being. Is there some way of addressing this? BTW this would seem to me to be relevant across the board for theme songs - there's no slot for lyric credit at all, and often a different person writes the lyrics than writes the music. (And further apologies if this is not the right place to ask this question - not really familiar with the proper procedures here.) Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks. The "clip of the theme song" on the page is not the magic school bus theme song. It's the chorus of "Starships" by Nicki Minaj. I find it hard to imagine there's a good reason for that, but I don't know how to change it. Can someone put the actual theme song back in? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.81.57.88 (talk) 14:44, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
Longest Running Kids' Science Show?
Nope, I do not believe so. Johnny Ball had two popular kids' science (maths and general science) series in the UK that ran for four or five years each, making them both longer-running. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.137.231.190 (talk) 15:00, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Someone must protect this page from vandals.
Hello. I noticed since Thursday when I went back to Wikipedia on the article, I noticed that the series ran from 1994 to 2006.
I found the two vandals: Kevin12xd, 73.33.56.186 and 2600:8800:3:bb00:d87f:7281:656:bcae. Please someone must protect this page from vandals. And also block them for wrong sources.
