Discussion
Why are there two entries for the 'new' ride (The Seas with Nemo and Friends; The Seas with Nemo & Friends) plus another entry of the same name that references the renamed Living Seas pavilion at Epcot? There needs to be consolidation at least of the two entries that discuss the ride. Dr. Root 04:33, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
THE PAVILLION WHERE THE ATTRACTION IS HOUSED IS CALLED THE SEAS WITH NEMO AND FRIENDS. THE ATTRACTION ITSELF USES THE SAME NAME.
MAYBE A RENAME OF THE ATTRACTION PAGE SHOULD BE DONE? [ THE SEAS WITH NEMO & FRIENDS (RIDE) ]
Yes, should be joined.
Obviously the two pages should be edited together.
- They have been merged. --blm07 19:52, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
Ugh....they aren't merged VolunteerFD 14:39, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
- I moved The Seas with Nemo & Friends last time, and I wasn't aware of The Seas With Nemo And Friends then. All of the information from those articles are now in this one. --blm07 02:42, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Great! :-)VolunteerFD 14:39, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Alright, it appears that the pavilion and the ride is named "The Seas with Nemo & Friends", so this article should probably be called that. See [1] and [2] for reference. BTW I don't like Nemo or the taste of fish. --blm07 10:29, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Dipute over hydrolators claim
The nonsense about the hydrolators being removed because of "excessive guest complaints" is a fabrication, but understandable. Many sessions of "Traditions" employee training told a story that a guest (singular) said their ears popped, and wasn't that a fine example of how inconvincing a simple effect can be. Employees who get that kind of "inside" information are apt to inflate its importance, and this is a perfect illustration.
There is a far more sinister speculation that the ride was redesigned because the original film made no bones about the age of the earth and the process of evolution. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.110.142.14 (talk) 19:07, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
Separate article for the ride?
Should there be a separate article for the ride? I don't think there is enough information for a whole new article about it. I'd think it would all fit into this article. --blm07 02:48, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Live animals
Do the underwater habitats include live animals? I could not tell from the article text. If not, it doesn't belong in Category:Aquaria in the United States. --Ginkgo100 talk 02:43, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yes it does, before Nemo all it had was live animals. --blm07 04:34, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. In that case I'll add it the appropriate WikiProject. --Ginkgo100 talk 22:23, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Split-up + New Page
This attraction lacks a separate page for the original attraction as most others have; I feel this should be split up into separate articles for both the new and old attraction. 128.82.9.246 14:04, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
—Agreed. --68.10.121.73 (talk) 14:53, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Speechless
This article is a mess. It needs to be split apart to separate the former attraction from the current, as they are more than significantly different. As it is currently as of this note's posting, factually wrong regarding the former attraction which has no article of its own and is hardly represented at all in this article. 128.82.9.246 17:26, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Aquarium Status?
When I was at Disney World recently (After the completion of the Nemo conversion) it seemed like they had removed a good portion of the aquariums for the "puppet show" thing during the clam car ride. Did they actually rip out everything but the Dolphin and Manatee tanks? Just seems kind of sad. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.105.55.170 (talk) 21:27, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
I cried a little when I rode it again after the Nemo redo. An excellent educational and preservation endeavor ruined by this commercial crap. I wanted to see dolphins, not puppets. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.252.215.129 (talk) 06:15, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
