Permanent hair loss?
It's not clear from the article if the hair loss is permanent or only lasts as long as traction is being placed on the hair - or whether both are possible. Ileanadu (talk) 16:47, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
African or American?
From the anthropological point of view the article is confusing concerning the following: It is stated that some problems are characteristic for the African-American people. But it is not specified if the issue is in the physical properties of their hair type or it has something to do with cultural norms of the population. If it's former, then it's improper to say it's an "African-American" issue because the problem is equally valid for all Africans. If it's latter, then it should also be clarified if it's about cultural norms specific to African-Americans or of certain African peoples too. --Arny (talk) 08:30, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
