I suggest keeping this page for the following reasons: 1. WaferTech is the largest pure-play foundry in the United States. 2. It is one of the largest employers in Clark County, Washington. 3. Is there coverage in reliable, third party sources? Has the company done anything to satisfy WP:CORP? One doesn't get that impression from reading the article as it stands. Also, how can a company be a "pure play" (stock market term) when it's privately held? Who out there can "play" it? Deranged bulbasaur 07:04, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A "pure-play foundry" simply means the it is a semiconductor fabrication plant that manufactures IC solely for OEMs. It does not have anything to do with being a public/private company. Samsung for example manufactures wafers on a contract basis, but is not a pure-play foundry since it also makes chips for its own products. I have attached a couple of links and would be happy to expand further including incorporating it to the main article if necessary. Feedback on what you are looking for would be welcome. Rms1
