"The Women's Boat Race is a side-by-side rowing" - Woman's Boat Race is already linked in the lead, though I have no objection if you want to keep this linked in the Background section
Are Women's Boat Races normally held on the Thames? I checked Women's Boat Race article and couldn't find anything, so it might be worth mentioning if exceptions were made
Until 2015, the majority of the races were held on the River Thames, just at Henley. From 2015 they are also held on the Thames, just on the Tideway. Back in the day, the races were held on The Isis (also the Thames!) and the River Cam. I did think the women's race article had something to this effect in the infobox? "number two Faye Sandford (who was earning her third Blue)" - which Blue?
According to the toolserver refs 10 and 12 have errors, which is not true...
On hold
Like the other Boat Races, this one is compact and has a shot at becoming GA. All the above issues I could find were minor, so once they're out of the way I'll be happy to promote this. Good luck on the other Women's Boat Races; it's a new era for Wikipedia! ☠Jaguar☠21:46, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for addressing them, the article has now improved enough to meet the GA criteria. Don't worry about the umpire, I'm sure nobody would mind it being missing from a GA! Good luck on the rest of the Women's Boat Races too, I noticed a few red links? ☠Jaguar☠14:52, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
