Contrell William "Phat" Hudson (born November 16, 2003), also known by his stage name Phat-Man (sometimes stylized as PHATMAN), is an American rapper, songwriter, actor and entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of the conglomerate company Phatman Enterprises.

Born and raised in Mississippi, Hudson released his debut album Birth of a Legend.

Early life
Contrell William Hudson was born on November 16, 2003, at the Madison County Medical Center in Canton, Mississippi, to Shana Sharell Gregory (born 1985), and CW "Buddy" Hudson III (born 1982). His parents form his name to match the initials of his father, uncle and grandfather. His middle name was intially misspelled as "Williams" on his birth certificate but was corrected later on in life. He was given the nickname "Phat-Man" or "Phat" when he was a baby. Growing up his maternal grandmother, Tara Mitchell; would give each one of her grandchildren a nickname in which she called Hudson "Manz".
Hudson was known for his good basketball shooting skills while playing in friendly games in the neighborhood which led to him getting the nickname "Glock".
In 2022, Hudson graduated from Lanier High School. He is a member of the Gangster Disciples.
Music career
Hudson initially wanted to rap under the stage name "MGM Glock" (Initialism for Menace Gettin' Money Glock) but felted he would be copyrighted by the MGM company in the future. He decided to perform under the stage name Phat-Man.

Hudson has cited YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Tupac Shakur as his influences saying in a interview "I like YoungBoy for his southern influence on me cause i can relate to that and Tupac for his political views and his passion".
