Hi there,

Like many others, I joined Wikipedia with the intention of helping to further knowledge on certain topics, at least to the best of my abilities. I tend to find myself interested in rather controversial topics; my apologies if any edits of mine rub you the wrong way. I'm mostly interested in topics relating to personality, neuroscience, politics, and religion. I've got a Master's degree in Psychology, and I'm working toward a PhD.

I always try to edit and post according to these principles:

1. "There exist minds that think as well as you do, but differently." - Larry Niven

2. "I always felt that a scientist owes the world only one thing, and that is the truth as he sees it." - Hans Eysenck

3. "Answer the questions that weren't asked." - On a back flap of a self-help book somewhere (I think)

Cheers,

David
