The Hispanic Serving Institution page is very limited. It fails to provide information on how policy affects how much it can do. I would like to do some research on how ethical it is to hire faculty that is similar to its demographics. Also, I'd like to provide more information on why it is important and beneficial for universities to be considered Hispanic Serving Institutions. --Floresairam (talk) 20:57, 17 February 2015 (UTC)

I'm really excited to improve the page on Hispanic Serving Institutions. I think that many people don't understand the value of being labeled an HSI, and how much it can help increase Latino representation in Higher Education. There is a lot to say about it, but I will limit it to policy implications and the hiring of faculty that is representative of the student body.--Floresairam (talk) 19:11, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
