To propose deletion of articles or redirects or similar mass actions, it is not enough to just post a notice at the Village Pump, but you must always tag the articles affected by the proposal. Nobody wants their house being torn down just because they didn't go past the "Beware of the Leopard" sign. Remember that the vast majority of editors do not follow every proposal at the Village Pump (only about one in six extended-confirmed editors has ever edited a Village Pump), but many of them watch their articles or redirects.
