99 Ways to Die

Nominated. I was looking at this earlier today for some reason, and considered nominating it then, but got distracted. The discussion can be seen at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/99 Ways to Die (song). J Milburn 13:28, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

I've also nominated I Could Care Less, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/I Could Care Less. J Milburn 18:43, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I suggest that you put <includeonly> and </includeonly> tags around your User:LuciferMorgan/Featured material page. This will stop your name from appearing twice in categories that those boxes put you in. After adding them, your subpage will look empty, but the userboxes will still appear on your main userpage. Thanks for your time. --Arctic Gnome (talkcontribs) 19:53, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Not too sure how to do this - you're welcome to fix this if you wish, and I wouldn't mind. LuciferMorgan 21:00, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Outrageous personal attack

I ask you to withdraw this comment immediately per WP:NPA. Describing another editor as "the cancer of Wikipedia" is utterly unacceptable. WjBscribe 19:41, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

I will do no such thing. It was an extremely accurate description, and many other Wikipedia users hold similar opinions. Editors who work on articles are rather fed up of being pestered by his useless bot, and the lame excuses he gives. The only thing I find "outrageous" is the fact you thought I would withdraw my statement - any opinions I hold, I stick to them. LuciferMorgan 22:59, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

DevilDriver

Hey i just found the interview you did with the DevilDriver guitarist, coming up in the world ;p

If you have the time could you give the DevilDriver article a run down? I started work on it because it was in really bad shape and had three cleanup tags. Also the fact their discography is small so less work ;p

Reading the introduction of your interview it appears you did some research on their background so i thought you might be able to help on what should be added/removed/changed etc. I'll also make sure to get The Blackening complete this week (feel free to remind me if i don't). Anyway if you are busy and don't have the time then no problem, cya around. M3tal H3ad 09:34, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Yea the main problem is trying to find info on why Pitts left, no one really talks about it and Pitts hasn't done an interview (as far as I'm aware). Anyway I'll keep looking, thanks. M3tal H3ad 01:35, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
I can't find anything on that either. I read on your page that you're due to overhaul Cannibal Corpse sometime - the interview I did with Chris Barnes is quite good if you wish to get his side of the story on why he left. There's also a short bit on the band in "Choosing Death" by Albert Mudrian - give me a bell when you begin work, and I'll bring that book out for you. The book is good on how they got in "Ace Ventura - Pet Detective". LuciferMorgan 15:25, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Ok, although i think i will just do some general cleanup/adding what i have, as reading CC interviews there is not enough to go on to get it GA. M3tal H3ad 04:40, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Blocked

This remark is totally unnaceptable. Your propensity for making such personal attacks is highly disruptive. I gave you the opportunity to withdraw the remark and you have refused, merely defending the comment. In light of your previous history of blocks for incivility, I have blocked you for 5 days from editing Wikipedia (ie. one week after I gave you the opportunity to withdraw the comment). WjBscribe 18:00, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Of course I refused. Why should I not refuse? Since you wish to block people for being highly disruptive, feel free to pay your friend Betacommand a visit. If anyone is the definition of supreme disruption here, it is him and his bot. I find it rather unfortunate, and pathetic, that you condone his bot's behaviour. It'll continue to eat at Wikipedia's core, and the disease will spread. "The cancer of Wikipedia" is still an accurate definition, and one I will always stand by. LuciferMorgan 18:12, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
And since I am blocked, perhaps you can add the fair use rationales to the images that will be deleted while I'm blocked? LuciferMorgan 18:13, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
You are using this template in the wrong namespace. Use this template on your talk page instead.

Typos

Hey! Thanks for the typo fixes! Hope you're doing well. I've taken on a second job so not doing too much here right now... not enough hours in a day. Cheers! ♫ Cricket02 17:11, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

BFMV

  • Scrolls past the billion image messages* Hey Lucifer, I was wondering if you could look at Bullet for My Valentine when you have some free time. I'm not a huge fan but the article looked like shit, skimming over interviews there was enough content to go on and so on. I hope to nominate The Blackening soon as i go on holiday on the 23rd. I will probably finish off DevilDriver next and then Hellyeah and then CC. Although i prefer working on articles that i can get to GA/FA as its somewhat a reward. Anyway I'll shut up now and thanks again for all the help and advice with articles :) M3tal H3ad 11:50, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Possibly, lyrics and reception would be easy. I'm sure i read somewhere that it was recorded with a Dime V model which could beef up the recording section. M3tal H3ad 12:56, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Just to fill you in, for Lombardo all i need is the year he was married and the names of his kids. Also do you think the Slayer section is missing any key details? And do you know of any interviews where basically any metal band's entire history is in one or two interviews. I feel like re-writing article but don't want to do it from like 6 sources. Thanks. M3tal H3ad 07:08, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Well people brought it up in the peer review, and also need to know if his birth name was David, which i think it would be. The link doesn't work, and in case you're wondering why i asked it's because i started hell yeah in notepad but because its from 3 interviews all the times people say are different and a formation section would cross over with the recording of the album. M3tal H3ad 09:58, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Enough for GA you reckon? M3tal H3ad 10:30, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

NIN WikiProject (and thanks)

I'd like to invite you to join the newly-formed Nine Inch Nails WikiProject. There's alot of NIN-related articles on Wikipedia that could use a little attention, and I hope this project can help organize an effort to improve them. So please, take a look and if you like what you see, help me get this project off the ground and a few Nine Inch Nails pages into the front ranks of Wikipedia articles.

Also, on more of a personal note, I never did get a chance to thank you for your tough-as-nails (pun completely intended) contributions at the NIN FAC. It wasn't always an easy experience, or a pleasant one for either of us I'm sure, but the article is definitely ten times better because of your help and suggestions. So, belated thanks, and I honestly hope there's no bad blood because of a rough review. Drewcifer 10:48, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

What is your current focus with the Project? I think it's always better to choose one article to really brush up on, instead of a few at the same time.
With heavy metal articles, I can be quite brutal in my reviews. It's nothing personal - I just happen to be a fan, so I tend to comb over the articles in much more detailed fashion. There's definitely no bad blood due to a rough review by the way - rough reviews are usually great for honing one's skills in terms of writing articles. Brutal reviews I've always thought help more than nice as pie ones (despite how nice they are). LuciferMorgan (talk) 02:10, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Good to hear! I can definitely say my contributions at FAC, FLC, GAR, GAC, etc have improved in part due to the difficult review, so you could say I've improved in light of your example. As for the project, I have a few ideas on what to concentrate on, but it's not completely up to me. I was thinking that we kind of start on the main pages (Nine Inch Nails, the discography, Trent Reznor), and then just work our way down the discography page. PHM, Broken, TDS, and so on. NIN is a FA, the discography is at FLC, and Trent Reznor is at GAC, so it looks like PHM would be next. And I definately agree, one article at a time is much better. I think I'll add a collaboration of the month thing or something to the page. Drewcifer (talk) 02:58, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Peer review

Hi! This may be of interest to you: Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Peer review/Hellyeah. Regards, DrKiernan (talk) 16:43, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Favor

Would you be able to "babysit" my articles while I'm on holiday for the next 7-10 days? I'm not expecting any GA's to get reviewed and the earlier i nominated them the quicker they would get reviewed, nominated DD and BFMV like 2 weeks ago. If you're busy or don't want to i understand, and many thanks if you do it. Cya. M3tal H3ad (talk) 08:53, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Oops should of been more clear. I meant the articles at GAC, Hellyeah, DevilDriver, and Bullet for My Valentine, also The Blackening. Just reverting crap added to the article and if a GA is put on hold and the issues are minor, if you could deal with them. Thanks :) M3tal H3ad (talk) 12:04, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Joy Division

Long time no see. Could you offer some feedback at Wikipedia:Peer review/Joy Division? Ceoil and I want to get this to FAC in the next few weeks. WesleyDodds (talk) 05:27, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I've put the Radiohead article up for a peer review, and would welcome your opinions on it. Thanks. Atlantik (talk) 21:14, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
